Tales from a Life Lived

For A Friend

How long shall I wait on this cold moonlit night
For hot summer suns
Long autumnal days
When urges rise higher then skyward take flight
As they flee from temptation
and loves haunting gaze.

A lifetime of yearning suppressed deep inside
Through suffering in silence
he holds her so dear
With madness he fights but can no longer hide
As lust rises determined
truths whispered he hears

Their eyes tell such secrets as touch gently fires
Raw passion within
virtual strangers just met
Two bodies entwined slaves bound by their desire
A fever within
neither one will forget.
